- 2 tablespoons dried elderberries
- 1 cinnamon stick or 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Combine the water, dried elderberries, and cinnamon stick in a small pan. Heat over medium high until boiling.

Turn down the heat to a simmer. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
